Alastair Davis was a Research Associate at the Lowy Institute, where he worked for the Executive Director on Australian and US foreign policy.

He holds a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of New South Wales with a year abroad at the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico, and a Master of International Law from the University of Sydney.
